U.S. Unit for TOTO Changes Name
TOTO, the worldwide manufacturer of plumbing products and technologies, has announced that its US-based holding company, TOTO USA Holdings Inc., has changed its name to TOTO Americas Holdings, Inc.
“Our business initiatives continue to expand beyond United States and Canada to the Americas,” company president Daijiro Nogata said in announcing the name change last month. “The holding company’s new name reflects this increased scope,” he added.
TOTO USA, Inc., will remain the name of TOTO’s U.S.-based corporation for the manufacturing, sales and marketing of its products and services in the Americas, said the company, whose U.S. headquarters are located in Morrow, GA.
TOTO is the largest plumbing manufacturer in the world, with more than $4.5 billion in annual sales and 80 affiliated production facilities globally, according to the company.
